Ten venues in Newcastle city centre will host the return of Hit The North festival on Saturday 23rd October.

Previously planned for April after being rescheduled from last year, organisers SSD Concerts have managed to keep the majority of the line-up in place, and there’s some great additions too. Big names set to perform include DMAs, Sports Team, The Blinders and L Devine, and there’s plenty of up and coming talent in the form of satirical pop star Baby Queen, neo-soul sensation Greentea Peng, Newcastle’s rising star Andrew Cushin, Irish shoegazers Just Mustard and off-kilter indie popster Lauran Hibberd.

There’s a pleasing mix of local names too, including Ajimal, bigfatbig, Girl from Winter Jargon, Hector Gannet, Jodie Nicholson, Kay Greyson, Kkett, Martha Hill, NE Dons, Phibi, Roxy Girls, Spilt Milk, SQUARMS, Tall Shaves, Ten Eighty Trees, The Strands and more.

Further line-ups, festival venues and more will be revealed in the coming months.
