Hartlepool’s indie/punk outfit give us an exclusive listen to their thunderous new track ahead of its release on 11th April
Hartlepool’s indie/punk outfit Northern Hospitality are set to drop their latest single, MEMENTO. The track, according to the band, is “a Juggernaut of sound behind a tale of acceptance, making peace with your darkness and rising from the ashes.”
Sonically the song is a gritty, grungy blast of energy, complete with crashing rhythms, wailing guitars and snarling rhythms… And we’re delighted to be given an exclusive listen to it ahead of its release on 11th April.
Here, frontman Gaz Price tells us a little more about the track, “Memento is very much an evolution into a bigger sound. We have taken what made us NH and raised the bar higher! Heavy guitars and big dynamics woven behind some poetic lyrics is the recipe for our next year of releases. We headed down to Merseyside to record with producer duo SugarHouse and they really pushed us to craft something massive. Memento is just the first juggernaut we plan to release this year!”
