Reliably informed

Newcastle-based songwriter, popstar and BBC Intro tip of 2023, Lauren Amour, will be bringing her vibrant and melodic sounds to Munro Festival on Saturday 1st July.

Ahead of her performance, Lauren tells us what her dream event would look like…

Location: An arena-sized bouncy castle.

A concert for all ages but make sure to wear socks and definitely no high heels allowed in the bouncy castle. If my music doesn’t get you bouncing, the surroundings definitely will.

On arrival you’ll watch a brief safety video to make sure everybody can party safely, it won’t take long though I promise.

Then the guests will enter the castle, a huge multicoloured arena filled with disco lights, balloons and smoke machines. Free bar because it’s a Lauren Amour show and.. well I’m a nice girl (hahah) Snacks will DEFINITELY be available, candy floss, sweets, and all of the chocolate varieties.

Prizes for the best dancers and highest bouncers

Who is on the bill? –  Miley Cyrus, Coldplay, Peach PRC, Paramore, The 1975, Blondie and, of course, myself. It’s a full-day event, which means a day full of bouncing and listening to great music.

Don’t forget to pick up the official ‘I attended the first show ever to have been performed in a bouncy castle’ t-shirt on the way out (They’re going to be worth a fortune one day).
