Not many people have had as good a Summer as Eve Conway. The Darlington singer-songwriter/alt-pop solo artist performed at BBC Radio One’s Big Weekend and Hardwick Live and recently released Vanilla Ocean, her long-awaited follow up to the well-received debut single, Hunger. Today she drops the accompanying video to her latest track and has given NARC an exclusive look at it.

The video is filled with grit, lashings of swagger and gallons of milk as Eve unleashes fire on top of a camper van, on the steps of a vardo, sat on a wicker chair and pacing in a barn. It’s a fantastic accompaniment as the cinematography is as vivid and as full of life as the track itself.

Eve tells us a little more about the video, “It was filmed at an incredible farm (big thanks to the Forbes family) where they just let us have free reign over the land. YANA Creative were the ones behind the filming and editing and they’ve done a great job. I can’t thank everyone involved enough

The video is basically about power and I wanted to make sure that came across. We had a cracking director on board called Susie Potter so that helped massively! The milk was used to reference the original video accompanying the demo version of the song that I filmed on my mobile a long time ago. I wanted to keep that theme going but it might also tie in with what comes next.”
