VIDEO EXCLUSIVE: Mouses – Nostalgia

Everyone’s favourite lo-fi punk duo Mouses release brand new single Nostalgia on Friday, and it’s a typically raucous slice of angsty garage punk, which tackles the feelings of regret when facing up to your past.

In typical Mouses style, the track has an undoubted DIY edge, and in the accompanying video Ste and Nath hark back to their youth. “The concept of the video was to make an old skool skateboarding vid but with neither of us actually being able to skate. We hired out the wonderful Tryin’ HQ in Hartlepool, which is an amazing little indoor skatepark. They teach kids and adults how to skate from as young as 2 or 3 and it’s such a cool place. We turned down their very kind offer to give us a quick lesson – we didn’t want to learn too much, just enough to actually get on a board long enough to fall off – and the bruises the next day told the rest of the story.
