The Ouseburn Trust are taking the term ‘underground music scene’ to a whole new (subterranean) level with their Sounds Of The Underground events, which sees them put on a series of atmospheric gigs in the dark and historic setting of the Victoria Tunnel for a unique musical experience.

First up, on Friday 12th November are talented vocalist, songwriter and Winner of Parliamentary Jazz Awards Jazz Vocalist Of The Year 2019, Zoe Gilby, who will be joined by her husband, the innovative and powerful double bassist Andy Champion. This exceptional pairing create beautiful sounds via electrifying performances that breathe fresh life into the familiar as well as heading off into uncharted territories.

Future shows include composer and pianist Steve Luck on Saturday 18th December and electro-acoustic outfit :zoviet*france: on Friday 22 April 2022. Tickets are available here. Only 30 tickets are available for each performance to allow for plenty of spacing.

P.S. dress warmly.
