Ouseburn’s atmospheric Victoria Tunnel is set for its unique Sounds Of The Underground series, which see an eclectic range of artists perform within its subterranean setting. Performing are folk trio Spaces In Between (Friday 20th May) and electronic/avant-garde performer Me Lost Me (Friday 21st October) alongside a night celebrating local heritage with Strange Brew (Friday 10th June).
First up, on Saturday 14th May, is Paul Taylor, an accomplished pianist, keyboard player and composer working in the realm of improvisation and spontaneous composition. His music incorporates elements of jazz, classical, experimental and ambient modes and alongside the piano, Paul often uses synthesisers and organs in his work.
The unique setting of the Victoria Tunnel will provide an intimate and evocative experience for those who venture into the darkness. Tickets are £15 and available here.
