“I was trying to imitate Debussy when writing this, but I was also experimenting with synth-heavy pop production at the same time. Topped off with jangly guitars, Memory Harp ended up being one of the more eclectic sounding tracks on the record.” Says Spell Token‘s Josh Ingledew, whose Present Perfect Tense EP dropped without much warning towards the end of 2018 and was one of the best things I heard all year.

A recording of seemingly effortless accomplishment that blends dream pop, psych, emo and quirk into something really special. Difficult to pigeonhole but essential listening nonetheless.
