Newcastle’s prog-rockers give us an exclusive look at the dark and destructive video to their upcoming single (out 25th February)
Newcastle’s heavy progressive rock band Giant Walker are set to drop their new single, Left To Wreck, on Friday 25th February (pre-save it here). The single is a dark and driving track that takes you on a sonic voyage filled with growling guitar, grinding grooves and mesmerically melodic vocals.
Ahead of the single’s release, the band have given us an exclusive look at the video that accompanies it as well as telling us a bit more about it…
“Left To Wreck’ explores the notion that we are blind to the problems that don’t affect us and how this often creates the illusion that people don’t care. Because ‘Left To Wreck’ is one of our heaviest songs so far, it seemed fitting to have the video themed around violence and destruction to try and encapsulate this. The video was actually made using old public domain footage from World War 1 and 2 and highlights the more literal meaning of the song.”
