On Tuesday comedy collective Felt Nowt presents Tyne To Stand Up at Tyne Theatre and Opera House, an incredible line up of the best female comedians in the region to mark International Women’s Day (Tuesday 8th March). All money raised from the show goes to the charity Rape Crisis Tyneside and Northumberland.

The line up is a variety of comedic talent and all involved are donating their time for free. Hosting the event is Sammy Dobson and performing are Lauren Pattison, Louise Young, Zoe, Rachel Jackson, Katherine Tanney, Anja Atkinson, Hannah Walker, Lauren Stone, Estelle Anderson, Elaine Robertson, Sam Mayes, Catherine Scott, Julie Grady Thomas, Catherine Young and Kelly Edgar.

Comedian and Felt Nowt Director Lauren Pattison adds “The North East is bursting with fantastic female talent, some of which have given their time in aid of Rape Crisis. The work they do is invaluable and Felt Nowt are delighted to be able to help support such a worthy cause. It’s set to be a brilliant evening of laughter, all while raising money to help the team at Rape Crisis continue to offer the crucial services to women and girls in our area who need them during unimaginably difficult times.”

The show starts at 8pm. Tickets are £10 and available here.
