Preview: Artsy Farsty @ St. Nicholas Cathedral, Newcastle (30th Sept)

Sarah and Lana of Artsy Fartsy Events bring an evening of art, laughter and swanky dresses to the grand surroundings of St. Nicholas Cathedral on 30th September. The event was first established as part of Lana, who was crowned as Miss Newcastle this year, to win Miss Great Britain. 

The evening will showcase local comedians Sammy Dobson, Matt Reed, Harry Ford and Andrew Flood as well as live music from Connor Haley and an arts exhibition. There will also be a charity auction with prizes donated by local businesses.

After overcoming a ten year battle with an eating disorder, Lana will be using the platform to raise awareness to the prevalence of eating disorders and mental illness in today’s society. Sarah’s partner took his own life after losing a torrential battle with addiction in the early stages of the event planning and therefore the pair have decided to evenly split all the profits to Humankind and Mind.
