Reliably informed

Joe & The Shitboys are a band who formed after getting pissed off with the shitty conservative attitudes in the island where they live (Faroe Islands), so you can see why they go down a treat in the intolerant Great Britain that bitter boomers and shan slinks have spent the past decade shaping in their own image.

On Thursday 16th September, The Engine Room in North Shields plays host to these much-lauded shitpunk playing bisexual vegans who are currently on their UK and European tour to support the release of their debut album, The Reson For Hardcore Vibes.

Expect plenty of energy, a load of grief from their frontman Joe and a barrage of songs that never break the 2-minute mark with titles such as Drugs R’4 Kidz, Life Is Great You Suck and If You Believe in Eating Meat, Start With Your Dog,

Support comes from Newcastle’s punky, post-pop one-man music-maker Bugman.

Tickets are £8.50 ADV and are available here.
