The music industry can be mysterious and, at times, confusing place to navigate around leading to making mistakes and missing opportunities that can delay a musician or music activist’s inevitable rise to the top. Thankfully, the Let’s Meet Project is here to give you the information and confidence needed to thrive in the music business with a series of music industry masterclasses hosted by some of the UK’s most talented and respected music professionals.

The sessions will run for five weeks from Thursday 27th May at 5-6:30pm and will cover areas such as running a live music venue, working as a national concert promoter or a music agent, working with press, PR & media and running a whole tour! Speaking are Caron Malcom – tour manager for the likes of The Verve, The Libertines, Joss Stone & Siouxsie Sioux (27th May), Claire Dupree – Editor of NARC Magazine (3rd June), Emma Banks – Agent & Director of Creative Artists Agency (10th June), Tamsin Austin – venue programmer at Sunderland Fire Station (17th June) and Conal Dodds – Promoter Crosstown Concerts (24th June).

Hosted by Jennie Brewis (The Cornshed Sisters /Pop Choir Project), the sessions run are free, online and open to anyone between the ages of 18 – 25 who are interested in learning more about the music industry.
