There will be two special screenings of Spike Lee’s new film
There’s a massive amount of buzz about Spike Lee’s new film BlacKkKlansman. With America embroiled in turmoil and race playing a key part in American politics, the acclaimed director has found a story to bring to the screen that is filled with relevance, and is sharp, smart and finds Lee bang on form.
A stellar cast is just one part of a film that finds a black police officer going undercover and joining the Ku Klux Klan. Two special screenings take place at Tyneside Cinema, Newcastle and Odeon Metrocentre in Gateshead, with a live Q&A with visionary filmmaker Spike Lee, both on Monday 20th August.
