We caught up with funnyman Eddy Brimson to find out a little bit more about him ahead of his show at Brandling Villa in Gosforth on Monday 16th July.
So, tell us a bit about yourself and what you do?
Comedian, author and actor. I tell jokes and tit about.
What’s the first record you ever bought?
We’re gonna make you a star, by David Essex
What’s your guilty pleasure musically?
Saturday Night, by Wigfield. I’m a drum and Bass man usually.
Favourite film of all time?
I can’t pick one so 3: Life of Brian. Team America and Spinal Tap
Your guilty pleasure film?
The Exorcist … fuck me!!!!!
If you could recommend one TV series to binge watch, what would it be?
Toast of London. Just brilliant in every way.
Your favourite book?
I’ll go for something you might not of heard of: Blue Road by Windy Baboulene. It’s a travel book about a young lad’s adventures on a container ship as he circumnavigates the plant. Hysterical. Biting the Bullet is another great book. Again travel. A motorbike adventure around India. Wonderful.
Who or what makes you laugh the most?
I love cat videos.
Who or what makes you sad?
Watching footballers cheat. Pricks.
If you had super power, what would it be?
I’d be Cock Man … I’d dress as a chicken and peck peoples arseholes.
And finally, you get to play a board game with any three famous people from history, who do you choose and what’s the board game?
Cluedo. I’d have Tony Blair, Trump and Thatcher. And half way through I’d pull out a real candlestick and smash the fuck out of them.
