With Waves Festival taking a break from its usual multi-venue format, organisers have announced Ripples —a one-off event designed to keep the energy of the festival alive. Taking place across Independent and Space Bar on Saturday 15th November, Ripples brings a full day of live music from emerging and established artists.

The first wave of acts includes Brighton punk trio SNAYX, psych-leaning Ellis·D, and alt-rock outfit Jools, alongside Critch, Distant Listening, Galaxians, Leazes, Lottie Willis, Marketplace, Patrick Gosling, The Empire Police and Wool. More names are expected soon.

Ripples continues Waves’ commitment to platforming new talent and supporting Sunderland’s grassroots music scene. With three stages and a genre-spanning line-up, the event promises the same eclecticism and community spirit that’s defined the festival since its launch.

Organisers say Ripples is about “keeping the spirit of Waves alive and continuing to give a platform to incredible artists—from the North East and beyond.”
