Preview: Lauren Housley @ Sage Gateshead

Over the past couple of years and without much fuss, Yorkshire singer-songwriter Lauren Housley has become on of the most lauded solo artists in the UK receiving praise from respected names in the business, including the likes of Bob Harris and Paul Sexton, and critical acclaim for her recent album Girl From The North – a body of work that deals with love, loss and the turbulence of growing up and learning about life.

On Saturday 4th December, Lauren will be taking her tour supporting the release to Sage Gateshead to treat the audience to finely crafted, infectious songs filled with captivating storytelling and emotive, uplifting vocals reminiscent of the likes of Carole King, Eva Cassidy and Regina Spektor.
