The music and comedy all-dayer returns on Sunday 19th September to raise money for the Northumbria Blood Bikes and Tyne Theatre & Opera House Preservation Trust
On Sunday 19th September, 2CC Music & Laughter Show returns for a day filled with some of the finest music and comedic talents around. All profits raised from the event will be split between local charities the Northumbria Blood Bikes and Tyne Theatre & Opera House Preservation Trust.
Kicking off the show at The Tyne Theatre & Opera House is Newcastle’s very own one-liner funny man Julian Lee, followed by soul duo Lee and Mark and purveyor of laugh-out-loud surrealism Sean Turner. Shotley Bridge jazz singer Danielle Brown is on before the final comedian of the show Sammy Dobson, who started her career at 14 in Byker Grove and has gone on to perform at a number of the country’s top venues, alongside the Edinburgh Fringe.
Closing the evening are talented singers Liam Olsen and Rebecca Graham who have made a name for themselves on the stage with their powerful vocal performances. Compering the show will be the Tyne Theatre’s very own master of ceremonies, Stephen Stokoe.
The event starts at 1pm and tickets can be purchased here.
