NEWS: NE1 Restaurant Week January Dates Announced

The organisers behind Newcastle Restaurant Week have announced the dates for their January event. January 2015’s Restaurant Week will take place between Monday 19^th and Sunday 25^th January and will once again allow punters to sample some of the city’s finest restaurants for a fixed price of either £10 or £15. This will be the ninth time that the event has been held in the city.

This January’s event will be the first with involvement from Newcastle College’s Chefs’ Academy, where aspiring and talented chefs starting out in a career in catering will be able to showcase their talents.

Andy Brown, head of department at Newcastle College said: “It’s an honour to be involved in NE1’s Restaurant Week and it will give our students the chance to step up and display their collective talents. We have worked hard to establish strong and workable industry links and I’m sure Restaurant Week customers will be impressed with the quality of the food and service delivery. It will be great exposure for the students and I’m sure a great experience for diners.”
