CHEW! comedy returns to Ernest with a line-up of top talent and fresh up-and-comers
CHEW! returns this Monday 7th March, after a short hiatus for Christmas and the start of the New Year. A cracking evening of comedy is in store and they have introduced a new policy where you ‘pay what you like’, or what you think the evening was worth. It all takes place in the wonderfully cosy setting of Ernest as always, in what is sure to be a fun-filled evening.
Continuing their policy of bringing you the best of the established North East comics, CHEW! also introduce you to the next generation of successful stand-ups too. Headlining is Cal Halbert, who made it through to the semi-finals of BGT not so long ago, as well as being one half of the excellent impressionist double-act The Mimic Men.
Excellent support is provided, with the night also showcasing the beautiful mind of John Whale, the confidence and charisma of Si Beckwith, the likeable tales of Michael Holford, the cutting stories of Dean Moore and the entertaining humour of Danny Doyle, John Gibson and Anthony Arnott. All this is held together by the MC talents of warm and witty host Julian Lee, whose sharp one-liners keep the laughter flowing between acts, in Ernest’s lovely, intimate setting.
