Reliably informed

Words are great, aren’t they? They’ve kept us sane, entertained and informed during lockdown and it’s only right that they be celebrated, something that Born Lippy is keen to do in monthly installments with their live stream showcase of all things wordy.

Shows are socially distanced but are filmed live on stage from The Globe, so you can enjoy the performers ‘sharing stories, amplifying voices and bringing hope’ without being distracted by some ‘Live, Laugh, Love’ wall art or a Mummy Clanger ornament in the background of their living room.

The next one takes place on Wednesday 10th February (starts 7:30pm) and it promises to be a doozy of a show. Performing are multi-slam winning performance poet, playwright, and author of two poetry collections (Tales From The Estate and The Poverty Guide Handbook) aka Sadie Davidson . She is joined by NE hip-hop legend Rick Fury, comedian and actor John Scott and Newcastle based spoken word poet Tahmina Ali and more to be announced.
