A Stone’s Throw Festival is set to showcase sixty of the hottest new music acts over ten venues in two towns (Tynemouth and North Shields) on Saturday 28th May. They announced the first lot of acts earlier in the year and now are pleased to announce the second wave of exciting talent joining the bill.

Joining Island-signed Sam Tompkins, NME ‘Best New Act in the UK’-voted BERWYN, and Isle of Wight slacker-pop queen Lauran Hibberd, who have already been announced, are Newcastle indie sensation Heidi Curtis, synth-pop risers Deco and indie maestros Second Thoughts.

Performing at this year’s first edition will be Alex Amor, August Charles, Baltic, Bandit, Benjamin Fitzgerald, Calum Bowie, Candid, Chartreuse, Club Paradise, Dakota Avenue, Danko, DILUTEY JUICE, Ellur, FEVA, Finn Forster, Frankie Beetlestone, Frankie Jobling, George O’Hanlon, Hector Gannet, Hi Sienna, HighSchool, Imogen, Jango Flash, Jarki Monno, Kate Bond, Keiran Bowe, Lizzie Esau, Luke Royalty, LYRAS, Midlight, Moon Wax, Motel Carnation, Overpass, Pave The Jungle, Rudie Edwards, Scrannabis, Spilt Milk, Swannek, Tamzene, Ten Eighty Trees, The Gulps, The Michaels, The Strands, TV Death, Uncanny Valley, Vice Killer, Witness Protection Programme, wych elm, ZELA and more.
