Following success in lockdown, featuring on the line up of Klub Kids Summer Mania festival at Newcastle’s Virgin Money Unity Arena alongside the likes of Atomic Kitten, pop artist Channy has spent time working on her original music and is set to release The Rest Of Me, which we’re delighted to be given an exclusive listen of.

The emotive piano ballad was co-wrote with established North East born singer-songwriter Jamie Lee Harrison and co-produced by Jamie and music producer Rob Boak and talks about Channy’s own personal struggles.

‘I wrote this song about my personal struggles. I’ve often felt misunderstood and I’m forever trying to find happiness from the inside out. It’s like searching for that missing jigsaw piece within yourself. Everyone can relate to fighting their own battles, but learn never to rush yourself, everything will fit into place when the time is right. Through the single I have chosen to raise awareness for mental health in the arts. With the help of my official dance ambassadors, who are sharing the story through movement across social media, we are hoping to make a difference.’

The Rest Of Me is released on Friday 27th November and can be pre-saved here.
