A new bi-monthly women’s only social event kicks off with an evening of techno
Wor Lasses is a new bi-monthly, women’s only social event space, which kicks off at The Globe, Newcastle on Friday 7th October. The premise behind these events is to get women to socialise with one another so they can network and in turn, foster relationships to support and empower one another. All the audience members will be women, as will any performers, technicians or paid staff.
The first event is an 18+ techno event with a lineup filled with local female talent, including Amy Warehouse, CCM, KAYTEE BEE & Silent Mess. Future events are in the pipeline that will allow women to take care of other women by supporting one another’s art, and creativity and paying women for their talents.
