Coming to the North-East in October and November is Stairwall – The Things We Find, a brand-new production from dance performance maker Esther Huss and featuring Visual Artist Germany-born but Northumberland-based visual artist, Claudia Sacher and Newcastle-based composer and sound artist, Jeremy Bradfield, that tells the stories of local narratives through a lens of play and adventure.

Esther, who has 20 years of experience working with some of the country’s finest creatives, was inspired by the notion of ‘almost too serious’ and the show is a playful exchange between dance, visual arts and music to highlight some of our too serious and not serious enough moments in life.

The performances will take place at Seaton Delaval Hall on Saturday 22nd October, Cambois Miner’s Welfare Institute on Friday 28th October, Percy A. Hudson Ltd, Timber Merchants in North Shields on Sunday 6th November and Knott Memorial Hall on Heddon-On-The-Wall on Friday 11th November. The dates in Cambois and Heddon-On-The-Wall will also include a workshop that will offer an opportunity for hands-on exploration of each of the art forms.

All performances are ‘pay what you can’ and the workshops are free. To book your ticket, visit www.esther-moves.com.
