Preview: Kerris Gibson @ The Stand Newcastle

Kerris Gibson is a north-east based performer and comedian with a burgeoning reputation, having been marked as one to watch since eye-catching performances at both the Alphabetti Theatre and Tyne Theatre in recent years. 

Kerris is currently performing the exceptional “Getting On”, which offers a peek behind the curtain, in an entirely literal sense. It promises a dose of conventional stand-up with a unique blend of performance theatre, as the performance joins Kerris in her dressing room as she prepares for a show. From the sanctity of her dressing room, she recounts experiences on the comedy circuit, modern life and the growing pains of becoming a solo performer. It’s a truly unique, captivating concept and, taking place in Newcastle’s legendary Stand comedy club on Sunday 30th November, there is no better time or place to enjoy it.
