In The Frame returns Tuesday 4th August with another evening celebrating the region’s filmmaking talent, this time settling into the cosy surroundings of Louie’s Wine Bar in Hartlepool. Running from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm, the Hartlepool‑based Filmmakers’ Collective continues its mission to support and empower the North East’s screen community through free events, creative development and meaningful networking.
As ever, the night centres on a curated selection of short films from emerging and established regional filmmakers, each screening followed by a brief Q&A that gives audiences a chance to hear directly from the people behind the work. It’s a relaxed, open space designed to spark conversation, share ideas and help build sustainable creative careers across the local industry.
Whether you’re a filmmaker, a film enthusiast, or simply curious about the region’s growing screen scene, In The Frame offers a welcoming place to connect, discover new voices and meet collaborators.
