Doxology bring Iceboy Violet, Stolen Velour and local support to Star & Shadow on 22nd April for a night of boundary‑pushing electronics
Doxology bring a stacked night of boundary‑pushing electronics to Star & Shadow Cinema on Wednesday 22nd April, headlined by the return of Iceboy Violet. Last seen at the venue during TUSK After Dark 2022, Iceboy has since carved out one of the most exciting, shape‑shifting catalogues in the UK underground, releasing Not A Dream But A Controlled Explosion and the Nueen collaboration You Said You’d Hold My Hand Through The Fire, with another record on the way. Their work spans rap, noise, club mutations and emotional excavation, and their list of collaborators — from Loraine James and Blackhaine to Blood Orange, aya and Space Afrika — speaks for itself. For this show they’re joined by Doxolumnus 96 Back as touring DJ.
Main support comes from Stolen Velour, a post‑club futurist whose hyper‑charged, neon‑splintered productions have landed on New York’s Kindergarten imprint, with a new EP incoming via Illegal Data. Expect a solo live set of unreleased material that pushes the night into stranger, brighter territory.
Local support from ZINZILE, Gail MC and Gumukki rounds out a bill built for adventurous ears. Tickets available here.
