Reliably informed

Chilli Studios marks World Mental Health Day with Community, a new exhibition opening at BottleWorks on Friday 10th October. The show features work from members of the Newcastle-based mental health and arts charity, exploring themes of belonging, exclusion and creative expression through painting, sculpture, photography, textiles and mixed media. Running until 20th October, the exhibition invites audiences to reflect on what it means to exist within—and outside of—social structures, and how creativity can offer connection and clarity.

For over two decades, Chilli Studios has supported people across the North East through arts-based mental health programmes, providing a safe and inclusive space for creative development. Community brings that ethos to the fore, showcasing personal and thought-provoking work shaped by lived experience.

The preview evening takes place on Friday 10th October from 4pm–6.30pm at BottleWorks on Newcastle’s Quayside. Admission is free and open to all, with no booking required. More info can be found at www.chillistudios.co.uk
