Ali Barden and Diane Westwood: Curious Works brings together ceramics, textiles and mixed media shaped by an exploration of materials, forms and processes. Some pieces carry stories, others invite touch, and many reflect on human nature and culture—each sparking curiosity in its own way.

Ali’s ceramics connect word, image and form, drawing on stories, poems and songs to create works rooted in family, nature, place and memory. Diane’s mixed media objects play with material and form, often combining the found and the unexpected, while her textile pieces sit between the real and the imagined.

Together, their work forms an eclectic exhibition that highlights curiosity as both source and outcome.
