The Newcastle-based printmakers will be taking part in a selling exhibition featuring original prints from studios around the UK and the world
Spruce up your walls courtesy of Ouseburn Valley’s Northern Print, who are taking part in 20:20, a selling exhibition taking place between Friday 17th February – Saturday 1st April.
On display will be a range of original prints from studios around the UK and the world, including Northern Print. All prints cost £10 and measure (you guessed it) 20x20cm.
The annual 20:20 print exchange project, which was initiated by Hot Bed Press in Manchester, invites print workshops from across the UK and overseas to submit prints by their studio artists, with each artist printing an edition of 25 prints. Participating artists receive a set of randomly selected prints and their studio receives prints to sell to help towards fundraising, with every purchase helping to support their charitable work.
It’s a great way to learn about a variety of printmaking techniques such as screenprint, etching, woodcut, cyanotype, linocut and digital print, and find your new favourite work of art.
You can view and purchase prints by heading down to Northern Print, or by visiting their website.
