The Darlington music collective takes advantage of the government’s green lighting of outdoor performances and floods the town with live music until September.
According to the government outdoor performances are allowed and whilst venues and promoters are trying to work out the finer details, Darlington music collective Tracks have been quick off the mark to book a load of buskers to flood the town with all the lovely sounds that you might have resigned yourself to experiencing in 720 resolution on your 3G second hand iPhone.
Not ones for doing things by halves, Tracks have booked the region’s finest troubadours to do their thing every Saturday (and a few Mondays) right through until the end of September and thanks to Darlington Borough Council all acts are being paid alongside any donations from the public that they get throughout the day.
Some of the high-calibre talent who will be performing include Jodie Nicholson (25th July), Joe Treacy (27th July), Joe Ramsey (8th August), Finn Forster (5th September), Anna Leigh Stainton (24th August), Charlotte Grayson (29th August), Hayley McKay (24th August) and loads more, as well as promenade performances from Back Chat Brass on Sat 15th August.
