Film lovers! The time has come for you to gather a band of gallant knights, dust off the coconuts and perfect that silly walk for Toon-based cult cinema champions Screenage Kicks are set to return on Friday 2nd September with a Python-themed extravaganza.
Set within the splendour of Newcastle’s St Nicholas Cathedral, the team will whisk you to Camelot (and back again) in a screening of The Quest For The Holy Grail that promises more cheeky tomfoolery than you can shake a shrubbery at. The evening will provide a giddying array of themed entertainment for all – with live music, food, and even a Python soundtrack sing-along on the cards. Although fancy dress is non-compulsory, each attendee is encouraged to get involved in true Screenage style by adorning their most ridiculous medieval or Python-themed attire, with prizes on offer for the most innovative costume creations.
