Martin Mor is a truly adventurous comedian. I’m not talking about having a bit of a stint down under to do a few bushtucker trials on I’m A Celebrity… either. No, Vic Reeves, Cannon and Ball and Joel Dommett don’t have anything on Martin (sorry guys). Can any of them honestly say that they’ve done the world’s highest altitude comedy show at Mount Everest Basecamp? Or performed in the exercise yard of an Italian prison? I don’t think so and, considering the amount of shenanigans that Martin’s been up to in his 30 years of performing professionally, they’ll have to try pretty hard to catch up too.

Basically, if it’s on the map then Martin’s probably been there and got a humorous story to tell about it. It’s little surprise then that possibly one of the world’s most well-travelled stand-ups is using his experiences as the basis for his latest show Adventure Comedian, which comes to The Stand on Sunday 16th December. Cherry-picking some of the best moments from his journeys across the globe (possibly including some close encounters with bears, crocodiles and sharks), he’ll be cooking up a comedy storm that’s suitable for lovers of laughs and possibly giving you a bit of wanderlust at the same time.
