One of Britain’s most distinctive documentary makers will be sharing insights into her jaw-dropping career in a free live event hosted by the The Northern School Of Art on Monday 29th June at 1pm.
Acclaimed artist and filmmaker Jeanie Finlay (whose work includes Emmy nominated documentary Game Of Thrones: The Last Watch, the BIFA (British Independent Film Awards) nominated Seahorse, BIFA winner ORION: The Man Who Would Be King and her film about men, music and the north – SOUND IT OUT) will be taking part in a live Zoom session on Monday 29th June courtesy of the good folk at The Northern School Of Art, Hartlepool.
The former student at the school’s Middlesbrough campus will be sharing stories about her adventures in film which have seen her make films for HBO, IFC, BBC as well as four commissions for the acclaimed BBC Storyville strand, including BIFA nominated The Great Hip Hop Hoax .
