Sunderland’s favourite mackem pop makers headline a show in aid of a very good cause
For many of us, we start the New Year with resolutions that set us up to just generally try to be a good egg. Every little bit will always help, and with the awful tragedy unfolding in Syria, there’s a huge focus with a week aiming to raise money and awareness from No. 2 Church Lane in early January, starting Monday 9th and culminating in a Field Music headline show on Friday 13th January at Sunderland Minster.
Starting Monday 9th at Church Lane – all net food turnover will be donated to charity (not profit, but actual turnover). For the rest of week they’ll be donating a further 10% of our food turnover taking us through to Friday 13th January where a special show headlined by quirky pop Mackem music makers Field Music takes place at Sunderland Minster. It’s a real coup that one of the North East’s biggest rising stars have been pulled in to do this, and says a lot of the need of urgency to help those most in need, and your attendance, time and donations could be a big help too.
