The Fight Like A Girl collective pulls together a host of young musicians, writers and visual artists from the feminist and LGBT community, and once a year, they release a mixtape alongside a book/zine, with this all being celebrated at Bar Loco on Friday 21st October.

The brainchild of legend of the London folk underground scene Lilith Ai, she features alongside local favourites like captivating dark pop songstress Savannah Betts, folksy Meghann Clancy and the poetic ukulele toting Alix Alixandra. The 69 page zine collects work by 27 writers and illustrators from all over the country and the mixtape will be in CD format including original songs by 18 new artists, and will be available for purchase at this very unique show. Moments like this are what the creative world is all about, talented folk filled with verve and passion putting their all into something very special.
