A new dawn needs a new comedy club, which is why not for Community Interest Company Felt Nowt in association with 70 capacity Laurel’s Theatre are pleased to announce a new full time comedy club and theatre in Whitley Bay town centre.

The hilarity all kicks off on Friday 23rd July with a talent-filled night headlined by Britain’s Got Talent winner Lost Voice Guy who will be joined by local comedy great Matt Reed, Felt Nowt New Act of the Year Kelly Edgar and host Lee Kyle

The line up returns the following evening (Saturday 24th July) with the exception of Lost Voice Guy, who will be replaced by a VERY SPECIAL guest. From then on comedy will then take place every Friday and Saturday night with line-ups featuring the best comedy talent in the area alongside talented newer acts, hosted by Felt Nowt’s team of top notch compères, Gavin Webster, Sammy Dobson, Lee Kyle, Hal Branson and Si Beckwith.

Over the next few months, the club will welcome acts such as I, Daniel Blake star Dave Johns, Game of Thrones Ben Crompton, Viz founder Simon Donald, Edinburgh award nominees Lauren Pattison and Seymour Mace, Radio Newcastle presenters Alfie Joey and Steffen Peddie and many more including rising stars such as George Zach, Raul Kohli, Rachel Jackson, Chris Cantrill, Louise Young and Joby Mageean.
