News: Autumn Studios 2026 @ The Glasshouse ICM

The Glasshouse International Centre For Music has opened applications for Autumn Studios 2026, a week‑long artist development residency running from 26th–30th October that offers North East musicians dedicated time, space and professional support to focus on new work, creative projects or upcoming performances. Designed for artists over 18 who write and perform their own original music, the programme provides six days of rehearsal space, industry speaker sessions and opportunities to connect with fellow musicians across the region, giving participants a chance to refine their craft and build valuable networks. Autumn Studios is aimed at artists ready to take the next step in their career, and The Glasshouse emphasises that the residency is open to musicians from all backgrounds, with a strong commitment to supporting those who have faced barriers to creative opportunities. Applications are now open and must be submitted by 11am on Wednesday 26th August, with the Artist Development team on hand to answer questions and guide applicants through the process.
