TRACK REVIEW: Vice Killer – Life’s Machine

Following the release of their formidable EP Keep On Fighting On in May, Peterlee indie rockers Vice Killer return with their new single, Life’s Machine. Recorded during the same sessions as the EP and as their upcoming album on which it will feature, the single maintains the same exuberant style but loses none of the impact.

As an optimistic ode to working-class struggle, Life’s Machine features uplifting riffs and bright electric guitars alongside Thomas Low Gilling’s charismatic vocals juxtaposed with melancholic lyrics. Concerning the monotony of factory work, the single is accompanied by a simple but masterfully-shot video accentuating the track’s industrial themes. In all, Life’s Machine offers an exciting insight into what could be soon to come from Vice Killer.
