Ahead of their sold out show at Glasgow’s Barrowlands in April, Teesside promoter The Kids Are Solid Gold bring Scottish indie-rockers The Twilight Sad to The Georgian Theatre, Stockton on Wednesday 30th March.

Having arrived on the music scene in 2007 with their critically acclaimed debut album Fourteen Autumns and Fifteen Winters, the band have since gone on to release a further four albums and are now signed to Mogwai’s Rock Action record label. In the time they’ve been together the band have built a devoted fanbase, including The Cure’s Robert Smith who described them as “the best band, playing the best songs” and advised them on their fifth album IT WON/T BE LIKE THIS ALL THE TIME.

The Twilight Sad have a distinctive sound incorporating elements of post-punk, shoegaze and goth. They are known for their sweeping and dramatic live shows and this 300-capacity concert offers a unique opportunity for fans of the band to hear songs old and new performed in a uniquely intimate setting.

Tickets for the show are available here.
