Preview: Polestar Social

Newcastle recording space Polestar Studios hosts its third Polestar Social on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th March, offering two intimate nights of live music capped at just 40 tickets each. Friday features stripped‑back sets from Tommy Arch and Sarah Johnsone, two artists with strong ties to the studio and growing reputations for raw, authentic songwriting. Saturday welcomes Band of Holy Joy’s Johny Brown, performing material from his reflective North Shields‑rooted solo album Dream a Memory of Home, with long‑time collaborator Robert ‘Hacker’ Jessett (Morton Valence) opening the night. With the bar open and the atmosphere close‑up and communal, Polestar’s spring weekender promises two special evenings of music in one of the city’s most welcoming creative spaces.
