Pilgrimage To The Islands is a rather special music event taking place on Saturday 25th February at Holy Island. Ticket holders are marooned during high tide to enjoy an all-star lineup of musicians, as well as local art, splendid natural sights and lots of lovely food and drink. Then, once the fun has been had, the event finishes, the tide ebbs and everyone returns to the mainland.

The performances will take place at the island’s Village (Crossman) Hall and headlining is Kathryn Williams and her brilliant band, consisting of Michele Stodart (The Magic Numbers), Emma Holbrook and Andy Bruce. She will be joined by hotly tipped folk rock band Hector Gannet (who have helped curate the event) Ruth Lyon, Nev Clay, Ceitidh Mac, The Early Purple, Leo Bargery (formerly of Mount Doubt), and poet Paul Summers.

Limited edition art prints, inspired by the region and the music, will also be on sale. Local food and drink will be available in the hall and the island’s pubs and cafés.

The event in the village hall starts at 2pm and attendees can access the island anytime on the 25th Feb from 09:20 –until 16:15. Safe crossing back to the mainland is from 10pm. Tickets are only £25 and available here.
