Squiggle Productions bring their first live audience show to Durham Fringe Festival from Wednesday 28th July to Sunday 1st August at Fabio’s Bar.

Written by Benjamin Storey ((Toast!, Assembly Roxy, Edinburgh, The Boy & The Seahorse, Gala Theatre Durham & Assembly Roxy and Gutter Weeds, Live Theatre) Wishes On The Wind is inspired by the lyrics of Auld Lang Syne. It’s a tender romantic  comedy set over three separate New Year’s Eves, which looks at social media influencer culture and reconnection and is soundtracked by an original set of folk songs.

Wishes On The Wind debuts with a great cast that includes Shannon Swan (Outlander, Stars TV and Glasgow Girls) playing Sam, a famous social media influencer who is becoming distanced from reality, and Adam Ross Greene (Dash, Threads and Kick The Door) plays Charlie, an aspiring musician who is desperate to break the feeling that every day is groundhog day.

Benjamin adds, “It’s been a pleasure returning to the concept of Wishes On The Wind. It was first commissioned as a short piece of digital theatre during lockdown by The Wee Theatre Company for St. Andrew’s Day and I knew back then that it had potential to become a full length show”

Tickets are £8 and available here.
