Indie fans rejoice – another high profile headliner has been announced for next year’s Stockton Calling festival, and it’s a good’un!

Indie rock and rollers The Sherlocks achieved chart success and critical acclaim thanks to their third top ten album, World I Understand, released back in January. Renowned for their floor-filling anthems like Chasing Shadows, Magic Man and recent killer single The Night, the band’s anthemic hooks and catchy sound is certain to send their headline slot at KU Bar into legendary status.

Jimmy Beck, one of the festival organisers from KU Promotions said: “We are absolutely delighted The Sherlocks have agreed to play Stockton Calling, They love playing KU, it’s one of their faves, and they didn’t take much persuading once we asked the question. We have been massive fans of the band over the years and have loved watching their rise from grafting small venues to the main stages of festivals.”

Two other headliners, Circa Waves and Sleeper, have already been announced, with more to come soon!

Stockton Calling takes place on Saturday 8th April at venues across the town. Tickets priced at £31 including booking fee are available now.
