Newcastle’s Tusk Music Projects, producers of the renowned TUSK Festival, continue to keep busy during the pandemic by putting out two new albums.

The first is from St James Infirmary, aka Gary Lang, a well established artist in the North-East’s leftfield music scene. His latest offering comes in the form of his new album Astrodynamics, two electronic music journeys that signify a reaffirmation of love for so many kinds of machine music and the humans that their hearing may connote.

The second is from Otomo Yoshihide, a leading figure in Japan’s explorative music scene for some decades now and an artists who has recently become a household name in his home country for his work on numerous film and TV soundtracks.

His musical styles range from jazz to explorative electronics, improv and his album Live At Tusk 2018 contains four tracks, two on turntables and two on guitar, all played in his own unique style.

Both of these albums can be previewed via the TUSK website and are available as part of July’s TUSK Editions or can be bought separately here.
