Reliably informed

We might not be able to get together globally without travel corridors and two weeks of quarantine but that hasn’t stopped creatives using the power of the internet to join forces. Acclaimed theatre makers from across three continents have come together to create and perform an innovative play imagining and examining the world 5,555 days into a pandemic quarantine.

Flying the flag for the UK in this project, which brings together performers and creatives from around the world, is Darlington-based theatre company, OddManOut and two of its associate artists.

Their production, The Art of Facing Fear is a theatrical experience made specifically for Zoom. It depicts a world where the only thing left is the internet and a global community is formed, something a lot of us can relate to in this day and age.

The world premiere takes place at 7pm on Friday 31st July (UK time) and the play will then be performed live via Zoom every Friday and Saturday throughout August. Audiences are invited to reserve tickets on a donation basis. Tickets are available here.
