Sunday evenings in October can feel a little drab. The vibrant fun of the weekend is behind you, the thought of the dull working week lies ahead and to top it off, it’s dark and damp outside. What you need is a little bit of flamboyance in the form of one of Kovic’s jackets, and luckily for you, the British singer-songwriter brings his jazzy attire along with his beautifully crafted songs and unique vocal style to Think Tank?, Newcastle on Sunday 13th October.

He’s an artist who handles every aspect of his career independently and has yet worked with some of the best producers in the business, including Jonny Coffer (Beyoncé, Emile Sandé) & Mark Crew (Bastille, Rag n’ Bone Man). His debut track Drown playlisted the FIFA soundtrack, he’s gained millions of Spotify streams and his debut album (released in 2018) was met with critical acclaim and lead to him selling out clubs around the UK. As you can see he’s doing quite well and the future looks even brighter for this super-talented solo artist.

Joining him is Zimbabwean born, UK raised singer-songwriter Kelvin Jones whose global success started with the viral single, Call You Home. With multiple international syncs (including a commercial aired during the Superbowl and a spot on the UK TV show Cold Feet), he featured as the sound of Nescafe Poland and is also the voice of eBay Germany’s 20th anniversary campaign. He released his debut album ‘Stop the Moment’ in 2015 and plans to follow that up with an album in 2020, which he will no doubt perform songs from on Sunday 13th October.
