James Leonard Hewitson takes to the road this week to go on a mini UK tour promoting his new album, Only The Noise Will Save Me. The album, which was funded by a Kickstarter campaign and since it’s release has been receiving praise from all the top music blogs and radio DJs, sees the former bass player in Arcs & Trauma/trumpet player in Kingsley Chapman & The Murder and Frankie & The Heartstrings firmly establish himself as one of the region’s finest artists.

His travels bring him to the North-East on Friday 13th March at Bobiks, Newcastle and The Studio, Hartlepool on Saturday 14th March where audiences will be treated to the full live experience. Expect punchy and potent indie rock from his band, featuring Daniel D’Arcy (guitar), Ian Harrison (bass), Jake Hopkins (drums) and Josh Ingledew (keys), combined with James’ slacker-crooning stylings and witty, razor-sharp lyrical observations to create a cool, lo-fi zest that will have you dancing and smiling the night away.

Supporting him at Bobiks is indie-poppers Headclouds and at his hometown show at The Studio, James will be joined by fellow Hartlepudlians Onlooker the band and The Warrens.
