Hilarity Bites, the travelling comedy club which helped launch John Bishop, Russell Kane and Sarah Millican, delivers a series of shows from Wakefield up to Durham through December and into the New Year. It’s your chance to see some brand new and established names perform their material live on stage and with a plethora of dates, comics and venues to choose from there is bound to be something for everyone.

Britain’s Got Talent 2018 finalist Micky P. Kerr appears at The Forum in Darlington on Saturday 4th January at the top of a bill of talent which includes Kelsey de Almeida, Sian Davies and Pete Otway; while multi-award winning comic Tom Binns brings his Psychic Comedium character Ian D Montfort to The Angel at Topcliffe in Yorkshire on Tuesday 7th January.

Darlington’s Hole In The Wall will also welcome Newcastle lads Rahul Kohli and Andy Fury on Monday 13th January in what is billed as a new material and new acts night. Kohli is one of the fastest rising stars on the circuit, combining fierce political satire with surreal storytelling. Fury will compere the evening, spicing up his hosting duties with self-deprecating dark jokes and off the wall surrealism.
